  • ½ cup Ketchup Adds sweetness and helps thicken the sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard Dijon variety is especially nice.
  • 1 tablespoon Sambel Olek Or other hot sauce to taste.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by removing the silver skin from the back of the baby back ribs using a paper towel for better grip.
  2. Lightly drizzle your chosen oil over the ribs, then apply the All Purpose Coffee Dry Rub over the surface.
  3. Preheat your oven to 250°F (121°C). Wrap the coated ribs in aluminum foil and bake for 2 hours and 45 minutes to 3 hours.
  4. In a blender, combine garlic, ginger, and shallots, then blend until smooth. Prepare sauce in a saucepan.
  5. Once the sauce has thickened, pour the juices from the foil back into the saucepan and stir. Coat the ribs in sauce.
  6. Switch oven to broil and cook the sauced ribs for about 5 minutes on each side.
  7. Let ribs rest for a few minutes before serving with extra sauce on the side.
