  2. Pat chicken wings dry using paper towels and place in a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder; pour over wings and toss to coat.
  4. Arrange wings on the baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 35 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  5. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, mirin, honey, water, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and red pepper flakes; bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes until thickened.
  6. Toss baked wings in the thickened sauce, return to the baking sheet, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  7. Broil the wings for a few minutes for extra crispiness, keeping an eye on them to prevent burning.
  8. Let wings rest for 10 minutes before serving, garnished with sesame seeds.
