  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder fresh garlic can also be used
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin can be omitted for milder taste
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Paste canned diced tomatoes may be used
  • 2 tablespoons Butter replace with olive oil if desired
For the Assembly
  • 1 pound Cooked Pasta like fusilli or penne
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes can replace with diced bell peppers
  • 0.5 cup Fresh Parsley cilantro can be a flavorful alternative
  • 0.5 cup Feta Cheese omit for a lactose-free version

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Turkish Pasta
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated garlic, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Stir well and chill in the refrigerator.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced yellow onion and sauté until soft and translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add sweet paprika, garlic powder, and cumin, toasting for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in ground beef, breaking it up and cooking for 8-10 minutes until browned. Season with salt and pepper, then mix in tomato paste.
  5. In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in sweet paprika and infuse for about a minute.
  6. Combine cooked pasta with the spiced beef mixture and garlic yogurt. Toss gently until well combined.
  7. Drizzle warm paprika butter over the assembled dish and garnish with cherry tomatoes, crumbled feta, and parsley. Serve warm.
