- Preheat your oven or air fryer to 350°F.
- Lightly spray a 9x9 casserole dish with cooking spray.
- If using fresh green beans, rinse, trim ends, and blanch in boiling water for about 2 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, and soy sauce until smooth.
- Fold the prepared green beans into the creamy soup mixture, add 2/3 of the crispy fried onions and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into the casserole dish and spread evenly.
- If using an air fryer, cook for 10 minutes, stir, add remaining onions, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- For oven baking, bake for 25 minutes, stir, add the remaining onions, and bake for an extra 5 minutes.
